Test Peugeot 5008 2.0 HDI Premium Pack: the youngest

Peugeot was the only manufacturer in not propose in its compact MPV range. This has now changed. Based on the technical platform of his cousin, the Citroen C4 Picasso, the 5008 wants to position itself as the challenger of the stars of the market.

You should never say “never”. While all manufacturers rushed general in the wake of Renault Scénic chasing one that has transformed the concept of family car, the Peugeot was fine mouth saying: “The compact MPV, it’s not for us.” Instead, the manufacturer offered his own variation of the break. Thus was born the 307 SW and the 308 SW. But fifteen years later, Peugeot changed his mind. The main reason? The manufacturer wants to cover 90% of the market, while segment confused. Difficult then to ignore the compact MPV.
