Q:I have a USB key, my pc is dual boot (windows and mac)

Mac m it shows 4 GB, I can save documents, but when I went on windows, I was told “you have to format before using this device, and after formatting (FAT by default), we m displays 200 MB of free space!

what is the problem?

A:The Mac can read and write to Windows partitions

You have therefore mac formatted with FAT or NTSF, window being less evolved not recognize can not be simply the format in which your key is formatted. In the formatting in FAT or NTSF (option is available when the formatted) your two the system will recognize without any problem.
With Linux this is in the habit of just not being bothered by the limitations of too many windows.
