About us

Our Story

There is nothing sweeter than home.

For us, that feeling is inseparable from Afghanistan. Wherever life has taken us, our connection to home remains. It lives in the flavours we remember, the traditions we carry, and the warmth we share. We chose the name Qandak with that feeling in our hearts.

Qandak was born from a simple vision: to create a digital home where Afghans can belong, come together, and support one another. A place to share what we create, sell with pride, and shop with a sense of connection to home.

Inspired by Afghanistan’s tradition of hospitality, our doors are open to everyone. For Afghans living abroad, we want Qandak to offer the warmth of community and the comfort of something familiar. For those discovering Afghanistan through its people and products, we extend an invitation to experience our culture, craftsmanship, flavours, and friendship.

We are committed to bringing genuine Afghan products to Afghans and to the world. That commitment means honouring the people and skills behind those products, representing their origins honestly, and promoting and protecting the Afghan identity they carry. We proudly celebrate both “Made in Afghanistan” and “Made by Afghans”: what is produced in our homeland and what Afghans create wherever they live.

This is our vision of a Digital Afghanistan: rooted in our heritage, connected across borders, and open to the world.

If you offer a product or service connected to Afghanistan, we invite you to apply for a seller account and become part of our community. Bring your ideas, your skills, and your story. Together, we can create more opportunities for Afghan businesses and help their work reach more people.

If you are here to shop, our commitment is to treat you fairly, provide honest information, and uphold your rights as a customer. Earning your trust and honouring the identity of what you buy are central to what we do.

Whether you come to sell, shop, or discover, you are welcome here.

Welcome to Qandak.
Everything Afghanistan.
