Afghan Saffron (Rumi luxury brand-gift packaging)

Rumi Super Negin saffron is grown on our own farm in Afghanistan and supplied by Rumi Saffron, Dried Fruits & Nuts Company, our registered Afghan company. Presented in premium packaging, its crimson threads bring saffron’s distinctive aroma, flavour and golden colour to rice dishes, desserts and aromatic drinks.

Grade and sourcing

As the grower and supplier, we identify this saffron as Super Negin based on our direct knowledge of its cultivation and supply. Super Negin is our producer-declared grade designation, separate from the “Grade A” description used in the laboratory report.

Laboratory analysis

The laboratory report covering this saffron describes the submitted sample as “Saffron Filaments (Grade A)” and records artificial colourants as “Absent.” It also includes measurements of moisture and volatile matter, extraneous matter, and characteristics associated with saffron’s aroma, flavour and colouring strength.

These findings relate to the sample submitted for analysis, rather than individual testing of every retail package.

Packaging and storage

Imported directly by Qandak, Rumi Super Negin saffron is available in premium packaging containing 2, 3 or 5 grams. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
